Location Mexico Monterrey

Monterrey is located in the northeast of Mexico and is with its population of over three million people the third largest city in Mexico following Mexico City and Guadalajara. Monterrey offers more than only its proximity to the USA. Indeed several reasons make this city one of the best decisions when it comes to establishing a business venture in Mexico:

    • 4% of the total population of the country is registered in Nuevo León, from which 45% are currently in the workforce. For 12 years now, the state of Nuevo León has not had a single strike, which signifies a disciplined and efficient business environment in which industry, labor unions and government found a way to collaborate and find compromises concerning their working terms.
    • Every main city and commercial harbor is reachable from Monterrey making it easy to trade not only to the North American but also to the Latin-American, Asian and European market. Being one of Mexico´s main cities, Monterrey offers direct commercial and cargo flights to US cities such as San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit and New York.
    • The city hosted the “UN Universal Forum of Cultures” in 2007 and the cosmopolitan flair this event brought, still lingers in the museums and cultural activities. Restaurants, shopping places and expositions make this city unique. Its green areas offer a natural getaway and are a contrast to the hectic rhythm of the city.
