Companies in the Cluster Statement from Lars Sauer - AZ Ausrüstung und Zubehör

Lars Sauer - AZ Ausrüstung und Zubehör:

„In 2007 and 2008 AZ ushered in its globalization with international production facilities. According to the new strategy we were supposed to follow our customers to North America and Asia and develop new business areas in these countries. Almost simultaneously, two new locations were founded - 2008 in Monterrey, Mexico and 2009 in Ningbo, China.

It was a lucky coincidence that we could build up the RavenCluster together with RavenRubber and thus rely on already existing knowledge and infrastructure. The focus of our own activities was in exploring the markets in Mexico and the United States. We concentrated on market cultivation, as the other functional areas were covered very well by the cluster administration. A legitimate but in proportion quick acquisition of new customers was possible, particularly in the automotive industry. In the year 2012 AZ Components in Monterrey will significantly expand its production area to invest in new injection molding machines between 50 and 650 tons clamping force, and complete the TS 16949 certification for this location. The concept within the RavenCluster allowed us a safe entry into the North American market and a correspondingly healthy growth. We will keep using this approach to cooperation in the future to produce our components and assemblies in the North American market and to market them.“
